HDR Series

Advantages:

1. 10 fins per inch evaporator and 8 fins per inch condenser coils.(Other manufacturers use up to 22 fins per inch which cause them to quickly build up with dirt and corrosion causing the system to malfunction).

2. These coils are coated with a baked on corrosion resistant coating. (Others use no coating, allowing the coil fins and tubes to corrode, causing leaks and poor efficiency).

3. All Nordic Air models have service doors that require no tools for access.

4. Scroll compressors are used on all models resulting in long life. Refrigerant is R-134a.

5. Nordic Air uses a totally enclosed blower and fan motor. (Other manufacturers use less expensive open motors which allow dirt and moisture into the motor windings which shorten the life).

6. A Stainless Steel drain pan is used on all Nordic Package Units, others use mild steel which rust out quickly.

7. A high and low pressure safety switch is standard on Nordic Air units. These switches save other costly components from damage.

8. Nordic Air units use a heavy duty 16 gauge G90 Galvanized cabinet and chassis for long life.

9. These strong, dependable Water or Air cooled units are available in six capacities: 5, 8, 10, 15, 20 & 25 Tons.

10. Crankcase heaters are standard on all models.

11. Water regulating valves are standard on water cooled models

12. Sealed Ball Bearings are used on blower shafts. Others may use sleeve bearings.

13. Electrical controls are provided in a NEMA 12 enclosure either remote mounted or attached to the unit.

14. A thermostat is supplied with all models.
