M98 Particulate/Gas Filter Set

The M98, 200-cfm CBRN filter set removes toxic gases and particulates to provide purified air for a variety of applications, including mobile shelters, vehicles and ship-borne collective protection systems. The M98 filter set is ideal for all medium airflow requirements and can also be applied to higher airflow applications such as building protection.
Multiple M98 filter sets can be combined to create 400-cfm and up to 2200-cfm on a single filter unit, and multiples of these units can be employed to accommodate even larger airflow requirements. HDT has designed, built and deployed several large collective protection systems, which employ as many as 200 M98 filter sets per installation.
The M98 filter sets are used on the military M84, M95 and M96 filtration systems, as well as HDT's FFA series of collective protection systems and Multiple Cell Radial Filter (MCRF) housings used by the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army for building protection and other transportable shelters. The M98 system is used in applications utilizing a version of this filter encased in a hermitically sealed canister (HSFC). HDT's M98 filter sets are designed and tested to provide protection from all known chemical and biological agents.
